Comment (Location): (LAND STATUS AND ADMINISTRATIVE AREA LOCATIONS CALCULATED USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS FOR SAN JUAN N. F.). CLAIMS LIE ACROSS LOWER BURNT TIMBER CREEK AND EXTEND UP NW SIDE OF OHWILER RIDGE, 2.2 MILES SOUTH OF LA PLATA TOWNSITE (UNSURVEYED SECTION ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :1974
Comment (Production): 1907 AND 1914 ARE ONLY TWO APPARENT YEARS OF PRODUCTION.
Comment (Deposit): COUNTRY ROCKS CONSIST OF CUTLER FM RED BEDS AND OTHER TRIASSIC-JURASSIC SEDIMENTARY ROCKS INTRUDED BY DIORITE-MONZONITE PORPHYRY SILLS AND DIKES. LOWER ADIT DEVELOPED NORTH-SOUTH-TRENDING VERTICAL VEIN CUTTING PORPHYRY AND SLIGHTLY SILICIFIED DOLORES FM RED BEDS. ORE PRODUCED IN 1914 REPORTEDLY CAME FROM PONY EXPRESS LIMESTONE MBR, POSSIBLY REPRESENTING REPLACEMENT DEPOSIT.
