Comments

Comment (Development): Adit driven SE for 6550 ft.; intersects many veins, including the Golden Islet and Volunteer. Drifts on the adit level, and an 1,100-ft. raise to the old Volunteer workings extend development to 1100 ft. in height above the adit.

Comment (Geology): Several NE-trending sulfide fissure veins dip to the west, range from inches to several feet in thickness, and can be traced for up to several thousand feet in length.

Comment (Location): Mine is about 18 miles ENE of Gunnison, on the east side of Gold Creek, in the NW/4 sec. 12, T 50 N. R 3 E.
