Comment (Deposit): TWO FLAT DIPPING VEIN SYSTEMS, ONE E-W TRENDING, THE OTHER N-S. THE LATTER VEIN SYSTEM CUTS AND OFFSETS THE FORMER.

Comment (Production): FROM 1912 THROUGH 1915 THE NINE MILE MINE AND SAN MARTINA MINE COLLECTIVELY PRODUCED 10649 TONS OF ORE AND OLD TAILINGS WHICH YIELDED GOLD AND SILVER BULLION. MINE PRODUCTION 1916 - 1952 WAS NEGLIGIBLE. IN 1953 , BARITE PRESENT CAUSED CONSIDERABLE DIFFICULTY IN TREATING THE ORE; AMALGAMATION RECOVERED ABOUT 65 % OF THE AU. THE GRADE RAN 1.0 OZ/TON AU IN 1953.
