Comments

Comment (Location): Political location in the record is Silver Bow county. However, lat/long plot 600m inside adjacent Jefferson county. Original coordinates were: lat/long NAD27 45-59-48N 112-26-6W (45.99667 -112.435); UTM N E Z; PLSS line# 1: Meridian- Montana Principal, TWNSHP 003N, RNG 007W, Sect 23, Sect_fract . Lat/long agree with PLSS. DMS has seconds but location accuracy is said to be Est. Duplicate record 10124606 is located at N-45-59-36, W-112-33-35, well inside Silver Bow county. It is likely the reporter mistyped the PLSS Range, should be 8W instead of 7W. The lat/long was changed to that of the duplicate record. PLSS was cleared in both records.
