Comment (Deposit): PETRIFIED WOOD AND OTHER FINELY CRYSTALLINE VARIETIES OF QUARTZ OCCUR IN GRAVELS THAT CAP THE HIGHER SURFACES IN THIS AREA. THE SILICA MATERIALS WERE PROBABLY DERIVED FROM THE CHINLE FM.
