Comment (Deposit): BANDS OF MINERALIZATION WERE FOUND IN A ZONE OF HIGHLY EPIDOTIZED GRANITE, RANGING FROM 100 TO 300 FEET WIDE. INDIVIDUAL BANDS OF MAGNETITE AND HEMATITE ARE 4 TO 30 FEET THICK.
Comment (Geology): EXTENSIVE MAGNETITE - SAND PLACER DEPOSITS CONTAINING GOLD ARE PRESENT IN THE DESERT FLOOR.
