GOLD IS LARGELY IN THE LOWER 2 FEET OF ANGULAR GRAVEL OVERLYING BEDROCK. SOURCE OF GOLD IS BELIEVED TO BE FREE GOLD-BEARING VEINS ASSOCIATED WITH QUARTZ LATITE PORPHYRY.
