Comments
Comment (Reserve-Resource): DEPOSIT REPORTED ESSENTIALLY MINED OUT AND VERY LIMITED RESOURCES REMAIN ALONG EDGES OF MINERALIZATION.
Comment (Production): MOST PRODUCTIVE U-V MINE IN AZ.
Comment (Deposit): ORE PODS ARE LENTICULAR. HIGHEST CONCENTRATIONS ARE WITHIN 5 FT OF BASE OF CHANNEL. LOWER GRADES TO 20 FT ABOVE BASE. CHANNEL IS 2 MI LONG, 3 MI WIDE, 50 FT DEEP. DIMENSIONS GIVEN ARE FOR MINERALIZED AREA. MINERALIZATION EXTENDS 7 FT INTO THE DECHELLY SANDSTONE.
Comment (Workings): WORKINGS INCLUDE OPEN PIT, INCLINED SHAFTS, AND ADITS. CONCENTRATOR OPERATED TO UPGRADE LOW GRADE MINERALIZATION.
Comment (Deposit): THIS REPORT REPRESENTS A MERGER OF ORIGINAL RECORD M002989 WITH RECORD M030423 OF JAN WILT IN MOLYBDENUM FILE; CONTACT PERSON T.G. THEODORE, USGS. THIS RECORD ALSO CONTAINS DATA FROM DUPLICATE RECORDS M003232 OF BRIGHT AND CREASEY AND D000309 OF R.U. KING WHICH HAVE BEEN DELETED FROM MAIN MRDS. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
