Comment (Production): ORIGINALLY WORKED AS COPPER PROSPECT; PRODUCTION LESS THAN 100,000 POUNDS. CURRENT PRODUCT IS USED FOR MAKING "BOX CAR RED" PAINT. IN AUG. 1940, 3 MEN WERE MINING 10 TONS OF ORE DAILY. CALCINED PRODUCT MAINLY FE2O3. GOLD CONTENT NOT SUFFICIENT TO JUSTIFY WORK. WORKING SEASON IS ABOUT 3 MONTHS.
