Comments
Comment (Production): OPERATORS REPORTED THAT IN 1918 54 LONG TONS OF ORE CONTAINING 30 TO 45 PERCENT CR2O3 HAD BEEN MINED BUT NOT SHIPPED. IT IS NOT KNOW WHETHER ANY OF THIS ORE WAS SHIPPED AT A LATER DATE. WHEN INSPECTED IN 1918 IT WAS REPORTED THAT 50 LONG TONS OF ORE HAD BEEN MINED AND PERHAPS 25 TONS REMAINED UNMINED.
Comment (Workings): NUMEROUS SMALL PITS ON OUTCROPS; SHAFT 12 FT. DEEP.
Comment (Deposit): FOUR CHROMITE CLAIMS, 80 ACRES. ORE IN THE OUTCROPS WAS TOO LOW IN GRADE TO SHIP. THE SHAFT OPENED THE LENS OF MORE MASSIVE ORE WHICH WAS SAID TO CONTAIN 40 TO 52 PERCENT CR2O3.
