Comment (Location): N 1/2, ON CANYON MOUNTAIN 2 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CANYON CITY AND ABOUT 1500 FEET ABOVE THE TOWN.

Comment (Production): $30,000 FROM A POCKET IN 1898.

Comment (Workings): DEVELOPED BY NUMEROUS PROSPECT PITS AND SHORT ADITS. $30,000 FROM A POCKET IN 1898.

Comment (Geology): PARTIALLY DECOMPOSED GABBRO IS CUT BY CALCITE SEAMS, SOME OF WHICH CONTAIN WIRE GOLD. THE QUARTZ VEINS CONTAIN PYRITE AND GENERALLY LOW VALUES.
