Comments

Comment (Deposit): Discovery Year: MOSTLY PRIOR TO WORLD WAR 1

Comment (Deposit): THE UTM COORDINATES GIVEN REPRESENT A MIDPOINT OF PROSPECTS IN THE AREA. HUNDREDS OF SMALL PROSPECTS ARE IN THIS GENERAL AREA. NEARLY ALL ARE UNECONOMIC, CONTAINING SMALL LOW GRADE CONCENTRATIONS OF OXIDIZED COPPER MINERALS AND IN SOME PLACES SCHEELITE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: NUMEROUS QUARTZ VEINS ARE LOCATED AROUND THE PERIPHERY OF A TERTIARY QUARTZ MONZONITE PLUTON. MANY ARE MINERALIZED BUT MOST ARE SMALL LOW GRADE CONCENTRATIONS.

Comment (Production): OTHER SMALL ORE SHIPMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE FROM OTHER PROSPECTS AND MOST OF THIS WAS COPPER ORE. A FEW HUNDRED POUNDS OF TUNGSTEN CONCENTRATES WERE PRODUCED.

Comment (Deposit): NUMEROUS SMALL QUARTZ VEINS ARE FOUND IN THIS AREA.

Comment (Workings): HUNDREDS OF SMALL PITS AND SHAFTS ARE SUNK IN THIS GENERAL AREA. THE DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREA INCLUDES OCCURENCES, RAW PROSPECTS, DEVELOPED PROSPECTS AND PRODUCERS.

Comment (Commodity): MOST ORE FROM THE PROSPECTS IN THIS AREA COME FROM SMALL QUARTZ VEINS, AND MOST OF THESE DEPOSITS ARE TOO SMALL FOR PROFITABLE MINING.
