Comment (Workings): SURFACE AROUND TUNNEL ENTRANCE TO A DEPTH OF 15 OR 20 FT. FOR NEARLY 200 FT.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: VEIN MATTER IS COMPOSED OF BROKEN QUARTZ IN MATRIX OF HEMATITE, RECEMENTED BY DRUSY CALCITE. MOST OF VEIN MATTER SHOWS ONLY TRACES OR IS ENTIRELY BARREN. GOLD OCCURS IN POCKETS USUALLY LESS THAN ONE FOOT IN DIAMETER. POCKETS USUALLY OCCUR WHERE VEINS INTERSECT OR CHANGE IN ATTITUDE.
