Location: Near center E% sec. 22, (40-37E), Orient dist.
Access: 8 mi. E. of Rockcut on Easter Sunday Lk. road.
Property: 2 patented claims: Easter Sunday, Cairn. Owner: D. C. Ames & Associates, Kenilworth, Ill. (1949). Memphis Mining Co. (1903) . Waukegan Mining Co. (1903). Waukegan & Washington Mining & Smelting Co. (1907). Forest Mining & Milling Co. (1909).
Ore: Gold, copper, silver.
Ore minerals: Pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, boulangerite, tetrahedrite.
Deposit: 2- to 6-ft. quartz vein in cherty argillite. Vein sparsely mineralized, and cut off by a monzonite dike.
Development: 130-ft. inclined shaft and 2 short levels run at 70 and 100 ft. from the collar total 550 ft. of workings. 480-ft. diamond drill hole.
Assays: 20-ton shipment av 1.21% Cu, 0.44 oz. Au, 12.4 oz. Ag.
Production: Shipped approx. 20 tons of ore in 1909.
