Comment (Geology): EXTENSIVE EXPOSURES OF HORNBLENDE-MICA SCHIST, LIMESTONE, AND QUARTZITE OCCUR IN THE AREA. THESE FORMATIONS WERE DISRUPTED BY THE SIMILKEEN INTRUSION AND CAN BE SEEN AS NUMEROUS INCLUSIONS FROZEN IN THE GRANITE.
