Comments
Comment (Location): ON SUMMIT AND EAST SLOPE OF MINERAL HILL. LAND STATUS VALUE CALCULATED 7-94 USING GIS OVERLAY ANALYSIS WITH USFS LAND OWNERSHIP BOUNDARIES, 1:126,720 SCALE.
Comment (Development): ADITS, CROSSCUTS, SMALL SHAFTS, AND PITS.
Comment (Workings): THE PRINCIPAL UNDERGROUND WORKING IS A TUNNEL DRIVEN 300 FT ON A NORTHWESTERLY COARSE FROM A POINT ABOUT 200 FT BELOW THE SUMMIT. CROSSCUTS THAT AGGREGATE 100 FT OR MORE HAVE BEEN MADE AT SEVERAL POINTS ALONG THE COARSE OF THE TUNNEL. IN ADDITION, THERE ARE SEVERAL SMALL SHAFTS AND PITS NEARBY.
Comment (Geology): THE ORE ZONE IS CUT AND ITS CONTINUITY INTERRUPTED BY SEVERAL LARGE DIKES OF GRANODIORITE PORPHYRY. THE DIKES ARE NOT ALTERED OR MINERALIZED AND EVIDENTLY BEAR NO GENETIC RELATION TO THE ORE.
Comment (Deposit): SCATTERED BUNCHES OF GALENA-RICH ORE IN QUARTZ VEINLETS BANDED WITH PYRITE.
