Comments

Comment (Location): SOUTHERN SLOPE OF BUCKHORN MTN.

Comment (Development): SHAFTS, ADIT, AND TWO TRENCHES. MAGNETIC SURVEYS IN 1945 AND 1960 DID NOT DISCLOSE ANY MAJOR ANOMALIES.

Comment (Workings): FIVE SHALLOW SHAFTS, A 350 FT ADIT, AND TWO TRENCHES TOTALING 420 FT.

Comment (Geology): INTRUSIVE ROCKS COULD UNDERLIE THE SITE AT SHALLOW DEPTHS, AND PROVIDE A CONTACT METAMORPHIC ENVIRONMENT AT THEIR CONTACT WITH THE OVERLYING ARGILLITE AND QUARTZITE. THUS, ADDITIONAL MINERALIZATION COULD OCCUR AT DEEPER DEPTHS. ; GEOL.DESC: SYENITE NEARBY

Comment (Deposit): DISSEMINATED ORE MINERALS IN QTZITE AND ARGILLITE.

Comment (Commodity): ONLY A FEW TONS MAGNETITE
