Comment (Development): ADIT AND SHAFT. IN 1909 A CLOUDBURST FILLED THE MINE SHAFT AND STOPES WITH WATER AND SURFACE DEBRIS. IN 1938 AN AT TEMPT WAS MADE TO CLEAR THE STOPE WHERE THE MOST HIGH-GRADE O RE WAS MINED; THE RESULTS ARE UNKNOWN.
Comment (Workings): ADIT: DRIVEN WEST 156 FT, THEN NW 170 FT; THE LAST 1 00 FT EXPOSES THE VEIN. ABOUT 150 FT WEST OF THE ADIT PORTAL 150 FT HIGHER IN ELEVATION) IS THE HIGH GRADE ORE SHAFT, WHIC H IS REPORTED TO CONTAIN A STOPE 6 FT WIDE, 60 FT HIGH, AND 6 0 FT LONG, FROM A WORKING LEVEL 35 FT BELOW THE SHAFT COLLAR.
