Comment (Location): SOUTH END OF HUCKLEBERRY MOUNTAINS NEAR HEADWATERS OF SAND CREEK.

Comment (Commodity): WOLFRAMITE OCCURS IN CRYSTALS AS MUCH AS 4 INCHES LONG. MASSES WEIGHING 100 POUNDS OCCUR.

Comment (Workings): FOUR LEVELS ABOVE MAIN ADIT AND TWO LEVELS BELOW. MAIN ADIT CAVED IN 1972.

Comment (Geology): ALL GRANITES SIMILAR IN MINERALOGY CONTAINING QUARTZ, OLIGOCLASE, ORTHOCLASE AND BIOTITE WITH SOME MICROCLINE, PERTHITE , MUSCOVITE, ZIRCON, APATITE, AND PYRITE.

Comment (Deposit): ORE DEPOSITS CONSIST OF PODS OF WOLFRAMITE IN NARROW QUARTZ VEINS. SCHEELITE IS IN ROCK BOUNDING VEINS. GREISEN ZONES MIGHT BE AS THICK AS THE QUARTZ VEINS. VEINS RANGE IN THICKNESS FROM A FRACTION OF AN INCH TO AS MUCH AS 29 INCHES.
