Comment (Deposit): ORE IS IN UPPER PART OF METALINE LIMESTONE NEAR CREST OF AN ANTICLINE PLUNGING GENTLY NNE. LATERAL LIMITS OF ORE ARE IN THE ADJACENT PEND OREILLE MINE.

Comment (Production): IN LATE 1957 THE GRANDVIEW MILL WAS ENLARGED FROM 600 TONS TO 1600 TONS DAILY CAPACITY. MINE CEASED PRODUCTION IN 1964.

Comment (Commodity): ORE IS FINE GRAINED SPHALERITE AND GALENA WIDELY DISSEMINATED THROUGH SILICIFIED BRECCIATED SOMEWHAT CARBONACEOUS DOLOMITE.
