Comment (Geology): PART OF THE "EAST VEIN SYSTEM". FOOTWALL CARRIES 1-8" OF CLAYEY "TALCOSE" GOUGE VEINS ARE CLOSELY BANDED, OCCUPYING NORMAL-FAULT FISSURES. A 17-FT VEIN HAS SEVERAL PARALLEL LAYERS OF RELATIVELY, PURE ADULARIA OR QTZ-ADULARIA GANGUE. ADULARIA BANDS, STAINED REDDISH-BROWN WITH HEMATITE AND LIMONITE ARE IN SHARP CONTRAST TO GRAY SULPHIDE BANDS.
Comment (Deposit): IN 1920, THE PROPERTY WAS OWNED BY CRATER MINING CO. OF NEW YORK, AND WAS STAKEDIN PART OVER THE OLD VICTORIA GROUP OF THE COEUR D'ALENE-JARBIDGE G.M.CO. HOLDINGS, DESCRIBED ON ANOTHER SHEET. THE CLAIMS ARE ON N. EXTENSIONS OF THE ALTITUDE AND WINDY VEINS, AND INCLUDE OTHER VEINS PARALLEL TO THSES. MOST VEINS 2-4 FT. WIDE, BUT UP TO 20 FT.
