Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Production): A SMALL AMOUNT OF ANTIMONY WAS SHIPPED FROM 1941 TO 1951. ORE ALSO CONTAINS COPPER & MOLYBDENUM.
Comment (Development): A SMALL SMOUNT OF ANTIMONY WAS SHIPPED FROM 1941 TO 1951
Comment (Deposit): FISSURE VEIN, FAULT ZONE; STIBNITE OCCURS IN QUARTZ VEINS, AND AS SMALL LENSES IN THE WALL ROCK, ADJACENT TO IGNEOUS CONTACT.
Comment (Workings): 35-FT SHAFT NOW COVERED BY BULLDOZING
Comment (Geology): STIBNITE OCCURS IN QUARTZ VEINS, AND AS SMALL LENSES IN THE WALL ROCK. THE VEIN IS A BRECCIA ZONE 6-18 INCHES WIDE ALONG A BEDDING PLANE FAULT, IN A WIDE NORTH-DIPPING SHEAR ZONE. THREE OTHER FAULTS CONTAIN STRINGERS OF CALCITE AND SCHEELITE.
Comment (Deposit): A SMALL AMOUNT OF ANTIMONY WAS SHIPPED DURING 1941-51. A 35-FOOT SHAFT HAS SINCE BEEN COVERED BY BULLDOZING.THIS RECORD INCLUDES DATA FROM M234136 WHICH HAS BEEN DELETED(BECAUSE IT WAS A DUPLICATE). ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
