Mine Info
Satelite View
MRDS mine locations are often very general, and in some cases are incorrect. Some mine remains have been covered or removed by modern industrial activity or by development of things like housing. The satellite view offers a quick glimpse as to whether the MRDS location corresponds to visible mine remains.

Comments
Comment (Location): ON A ROUNDED HILL SOUTH OF HARRIS GULCH
Comment (Deposit): SHEAR ZONE WITH URANIUM MINERALS PRESENT IN AN ALTERED AND SILICIFIED FRACTURE ZONE
Comment (Geology): THE URANIUM MINERALS ARE PRESENT IN A ALTERED AND SILICIFIED FRACTURE ZONE IN CRETACEOUS QUARTZ MONZONITE. A MOLYBENUM PROSPECT IS NEAR BY. THE SOURCE OF THE URANIUM MINERALIZATION COULD HAVE BEEN THE OVER LYING ASH FLOW TUFFS IN THE URANIUM BEING CONCENTRATED IN THE FRACTURE ZONE BY CIRCULATING GROUND WATER. (PERSONAL CONJECTURE)
