Comments

Comment (Workings): 3 SHAFTS & CONNECTING DRIFTS

Comment (Geology): THE DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF AN OPALITE BED OF CINNABAR-BEARING CHALCEDONIZED ASH AND TUFF, IN WHICH THE ORE RANGES FROM 4 TO 8 FEET IN THICKNESS. THE CINNABAR APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED BOTH W/ THE SILICA AND AFTER THE SILICA MINERALIZATION, FOR IT IS DISSEMINATED IN THE OPALITE AND ALSO CRUSTS LATER OPENINGS AND FRACTURES.

Comment (Deposit): ALONG W/ THE HUNT PROPERTY, THE FOX AND GOVERNOR WORKINGS BECAME CONSOLIDATED INTO THE GOVERNOR GROUP. THE PRINCIPLE WORKINGS ON THE PANGBURN PROPERTY CONSISTS OF THREE SHAFTS AND CONNECTING DRIFTS KNOWN AS THE FOX MINE. BAILEY AND PHOENIX (1944 P.14) HAVE PUBLISHED A GEOLOGIC MAP OF THE AREA

Comment (Deposit): OPALITE BED OF CINNABAR-BEARING CHALCEDONIZED ASH & TUFF. ORE ZONE 4-8 FT IN THICKNESS
