Comment (Geology): THE ORE VEIN FILLS A ZONE OF CRUSHED RHYOLITE UP TO 25 FT. WIDE AND THE LODE EXTENDS AT LEAST 3,000 FT. ALONG STRIKE. THE OXIDIZED ORE EXTENDS TO A DEPTH OF 110 FT. BELOW WHICH THE SULPHIDES ARE ENCOUNTED. SMALL BODIES OF RICH ORE FROM 1610" WIDE ARE FOUND HERE AND THERE ALONG THE FISSURE (EMMONS, 1910)
