Comment (Deposit): HAD LARGEST RECORDED PRODUCTION IN THE DISTRICT. IN 1902 A 20 STAMP MILL WAS BUILT TO TREAT THE ORES OF THE LUCKY GIRL GROUP. THE ORE CARRIED $5 TO $10 DOLLARS IN GOLD AND 1 OZ OF SILVER TO THE TON (1910)

Comment (Geology): QUARTZ GANGUE COMPRISES MORE THAN 90% OF THE VEINS. THE SULPHIDES ARE PYRITE, GALENA, & ARSENOPYRITE. THE GOLD IS MAINLY ASSOCIATED W/ THE SULPHIDES ORE THEIR OXIDIZED PRODUCTS, HOWEVER THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF SECONDARY ENRICHMENT.)
