Comment (Deposit): THE HUMBOLDT ADJOINS THE LAST CHANCE CLAIM ON THE WEST. THE PROPERTY WAS INCORPORATED IN SAN FRANCISCO UNDER THE NAME OF THE HIGHLAND SILVER MINING CO. IN 1872 TWO ADITS WERE DRIVEN WITH NO SATISFACTORY RESULT. THE CLAIM IS ABOVE THE MINER'S CAMP OF HIGHLAND.
