Comment (Deposit): THE MINE IS ON THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SILVER KING VEIN, WHICH IS SAID TO EXTEND 4 MI. SOUTHWESTWARD AND RANGES FROM 5-20 INCHES IN WIDTH. DEPOSIT DISCOVERED I( 1885 BY MR. TURO MERC ARE TWO MAIN OPENINGS SITUATED ABOUT 1.500 FT. APART. THE NORTH OPENING CONSISTS OF AN 80-FOOT SHAFT. THE VEIN HERE IS ABOUT 5 FEET WIDEAND DIPS 70 SE. THE SOUTH OPENING CONSISTS OF A 100-FOOT SHAFT. THE VEIN HERE ISABOUT 15 FEET WIDE AND STANDS VERTICALLY OR DIPS STEEPLY TO THE NW. ASSAYS OBTAINED FROM THE SUBSTANTIAL PORTIONS OF THE VEIN ARE AS FOLLOWS: 40% MN; 2% CU; 20%PB; 4 OZ/TON AG; AND A TRACE OF AU AND ZN.(SCHRADER, 1935, P39-40) BOTTOM OF THE80-FOOT SHAFT CARRIES ABOUT 4% CU (SCHRADER, 1912, P145) ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
