Comment (Geology): SILICEOUS SYENITE DIKES OCCUR NEARBY THE DEPOSIT. TO A DEPTH OF 100 FT. THE LODE DIPS 70 DEG IN TOWARD THE CONTACT, BUT STRAIGHTENS FROM THIS POINT DOWNWARD. (SCHRADER, 1912, P 137).

Comment (Deposit): THIS MINE IS LOCATED IN THE HANKS GROUP OF CLAIMS (HANKS NO. 1) THE MINE IS ABOUT 500 FT. OUTSIDE OF THE CONTACT, ON A BANDED LODE OR BED 8 FT. WIDE. THE LODE IS OPENED BY AN INCLINED SHAFT 120 FEET DEEP, AND A 75-FT. DRIFT TO THE NW ON THE 25 FT. LEVEL. NEARLY ALL WORK WAS DONE IN 1895-6 BY W.T. MCARDLE.
