THIS MINE IS LOCATED ON THE SKYLARK CLAIM NO. 1, ONE OF A GROUP OF SIX (CHINAMAN) CLAIMS. CLAIMS WERE LOCATED IN 1895 BY W.T. MCARDLE. (THE COPPER MT. CLAIM NO. 1 AT THE LOWER (ELEVATION) END OF THE GROUP HAS A 50 FT. TUNNEL.) THE CHINAMAN MINE IS LOCATED ON THE LIMESTONE SIDE OF THE CONTACT. THE ORE IS CONTAINED IN A LODE OR MINERALIZED BAND ABOUT 22 FT. IN WIDTH.
