Comment (Deposit): THE 4 DURHAM CLAIMS ARE ON S SIDE OF RIDGE 1/2 MILE SSE OF JACKSON MINE. THE MAIN DEVELOPMENT WORK IS A VERTICAL SHAFT ON A FRACTURE. THERE ARE DRIFTS OFF THE SHAFT THAT INTERSECT THE LEDGE. THE ONE BODIES ARE SMALL IRREGULAR PODS IN LIMEY SHALES ON FOOT WALL OF THE STRUCTURE. THERE IS 4 IN OF CLAY ON THE HANGING WALL ORE: IS SAID TO AVERAGE 40% P6, 32 OZ AG., AND $2.50 AVI A TON.
