WILKENSON, S.S JONES, IN 1936, FLOTATION PROCESSES WERE USED ON A HIGH TONNAGE OF ORE (16,000). 1984-86: FRISCO TOOK OPEN PIT BULK SAMPLE AND LEACHED SAMPLE AT FRISCO MINE FACILITY; STEEL ESTIMATED RESERVES.

Comment (Deposit): AN OXIDIZED PYRITE-BEARING CORE OF MICROCLINE GRANITE HAS HAD AN OVERLYING MINERALIZED STRUCTURE ERODED AWAY LEAVING THE FINE GOLD IN THE CAVITIES FORMED BY THE LOSS OF THE PYRITE.

Comment (Workings): 250 FT OPEN CUT, 150 FT OF TUNNELLING. MINING BY OPEN PIT.

Comment (Geology): APLITE IS PRESENT WHERE MINERALIZATION IS MOST INTENSE. AMPHIBOLITE DIKE IS AT NE EDGE OF 250 FT OPEN CUT. TERT AGE ASSIGNMENT BASED ON NW TRENDING DIKES OF KNOWN TERT AGE IN ADJOINING DISTRICTS, AND SIMILAR AG/AU RATIOS IN KNOWN TERT DISTRICTS.
