Comment (Development): PLACER GOLD ON COPPER CREEK LED TO DISCOVERY OF PROPERTY IN THE LATE 1890'S. IN 1974 AMOCO ACQUIRED PROPERTY AND DRILLED FOR PORPHYRY COPPER. THE EXPLORATION WORK WAS ENDED BY 1979. PLEXUS WAS DRILLING AND UNDERTAKING GEOLOGICAL AND GEOCHEMICAL EXPLORATION IN 1991
Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT HAS BEEN GIVEN THE INFORMAL NAME OF A BRECCIA PIPE CU DEPOSIT, FOR WHICH THERE IS NO PUBLISHED MODEL. IN ADIT 1, PYRITE AND MINOR CHALCOPYRITE OCCUR AS SMALL PODS ALONG FRACTURE ZONES; PYRITE IS ALSO DISSEMINATED IN THE WALL ROCK. IN ADITS 2 AND 3, PYRITE IS DISSEMINATED IN THE WALL ROCK AND THE FRACTURE ZONES ARE BARREN.
Comment (Workings): 3 ADITS, 20 FT SHAFT, ADIT 1 IS 115 FT LONG, WITH A 25-FT WINZE, 80 FT FROM THE PORTAL. ADIT 2 IS 40 FT LONG, AND ADIT 3 IS 130 FT LONG, WITH A 15-FT CROSSCUT 80 FT FROM THE PORTAL. ALL END JUST SHORT OF BRECCIA BODY
Comment (Geology): BRECCIA IS NOT A PIPE, BUT RATHER AN AREA OF ABUNDANT FRACTURES GRADING INTO BLOCK BRECCIA (STOCKWORK)
