IN TRENCH NO. 2 A MANGANIFEROUS BOULDER APPROXIMATELY 3 FEET IN DIAMETER IS EXPOSED IN THE CENTER OF THE CUT. TRENCH NO. 3, THE MOST WESTERLY CUT, CONTAINS TWO BOULDERLIKE MANGANESE BODIES THAT MESURE 2 AND 3 FEET IN DIAMETER.
