Comment (Location): THE PROPERTY IS REACHED FROM U.S. HIGHWAY 101 OVER THE QUINAULT RIDGE ROAD FOR 0.9 MILE TO THE PHILLIPS CREEK ROAD. FROM THIS JUNCTION THE ROAD AT THE RIGHT IS FOLLOWED SOUTH 0.1 MILE TO A BRANCH LOGGING ROAD, 1 MILE LONG, WHICH DESCENDS TO STEVENS CREEK. THE DEPOSIT IS AT CREEK LEVEL.

Comment (Development): 12 FT ADIT, OPEN CUTS, STRIPPING.
Comment (Deposit): MANGANESE MINERALIZATION IS IN AN EASTERLY TRENDING, SILICEOUS, REPLACEMENT ZONE IN GREENSTONE. THE ZONE CAN BE TRACED FOR 40 FEET UP A SMALL RAVINE. IT IS EXPOSED TO A DEPTH OF 10 FEET AND A WIDTH OF 50 FEET IN A ROADWAY TRENCH AT THE JUNCTION OF STEVENS CREEK AND THE SMALL RAVINE. IN THE TRENCH THE MINERALIZATION IS CONTIGUOUS TO A RED, ARGILLACEOUS LIMESTONE ON THE SOUTH AND GRADES INTO GREENSTONE ON THE NORTH.
