Comments

Comment (Location): AT HEADWATERS OF ROCK CREEK ON WEST SLOPE OF SILVER STAR MOUNTAIN AND NORTHEAST SLOPE OF LARCH MOUNTAIN. PROPERTY CONSISTS OF 1,040 ACRES

Comment (Reserve-Resource): ABOUT 2 TONS OF ORE IS ON THE DUMP

Comment (Development): FROM 1930-1944, NUMEROUS OPEN CUTS WERE DUG, 3 ADITS DRIVEN, SAMPLES COLLECTED AND ASSAYED, AND SEVERAL CORE HOLES DRILLED, BUT NO SHIPMENTS WERE MADE. PROPERTY IDLE IN 1977

Comment (Deposit): MINERALIZATION OCCURS IN TWO MAIN AND SEVERAL SMALLER NORTHWEST TRENDING, STEEPLY DIPPING FRACTURE ZONES IN ANDESITE. THE GOAT VEIN IS A QUARTZ-FILLED SHEAR ZONE, 1-18 FT THICK, THAT CAN BE TRACED FOR AT LEAST 3,000 FT. ORE MINERALS ARE DISSEMINATED WITHIN BRECCIATED ROCK. THE OXIDIZED VEIN IS IN SILICIFIED ANDESITE NEAR ITS CONTACT WITH THE SILVER STAR PLUTON.

Comment (Workings): 125-FT ADIT, 227-FT ADIT, OPEN CUTS

Comment (Geology): DEPOSIT IS NEAR THE CONTACT OF SILVER STAR PLUTON AND SKAMANIA VOLCANICS

Comment (Deposit): MAP OF PROSPECT AND LOCATION MAP AVAILABLE, MOEN, 1977 ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
