Comment (Geology): THE CRESCENT FORMATION, WHIC HOSTS MANGANESE MINERALIZATION ON THE OLYMPIC PENNINSULA, CONSISTS OF PALEOCENE? AND EOCENE PILLOW BASALTS COMPOSITIONALLY SIMILAR TO OCEAN RIDGE BASALTS. ASSOCIATED LIMESTONES WERE DEPOSITED IN DEEP WATER (SANVELY, 1987, P. 306-308).
