Comment (Production): PRODUCTION WITH FOREST ROSE. WASA WAS MAIN PRODUCER OF ZINC WHILE FOREST ROSE WAS THE MAIN LEAD PRODUCER. DURING WWII FOREST ROSE GROUP PRODUCED 113000 TONS OF ORE.
Comment (Development): ORIGINAL DEVELOPMENT OF ORE BODIES, BY DIAMOND DRILLING BY MAKE EVER BROS. OF N.Y.C. AROUND W.W.I. TRENCHING AND DRILLING CONTINUED IN 1946 - 1948 BY U.S. BUREAU OF MINES.
Comment (Geology): GABBRO AND DIORITE SILL IN AREA OF MINE. PARDEE FEELS THERE IS AN INTRUSIVE GRANITIC ROCK NOT FAR BELOW THE SURFACE.THE ANTICLINE HAS A NORTHWARD TREND AND PLUNGE.
Comment (Workings): 3 ADITS: #1 TUNNEL, #2 TUNNEL AND #3 TUNNEL OR SIMMER JACK ARE CLOSE TOGETHER AND KIRKENDALL TUNNEL IS 1000FT TO THE SE AND HIGHER. SEVERAL 100FT OF DIAMOND DRILL HOLES.
Comment (Deposit): THE LODE IS FORMED IN A SQUEEZED AND BROKEN ZONE ALONG THE AXIS OF A N ANTICLINE. THERE IS AN INDICATION OF A THICK TABULAR ORE BODY 600FT LONG THAT TRENDS NEARLY N. IN TUNNELS 1 2 & 3 THE ORE IS CUT OFF BELOW BY A FAULT WHICH STRIKES N15W AND DIPS 45E. POST MINERALIZATION MOVEMENT.
