Comment (Deposit): THIS MINE WAS THE LARGEST SOURCE OF TUNGSTEN ORE IN THE UNITED STATES FROM 1942 - 1944. THE ORE BODY WAS EXHAUSTED IN JULY, 1945.

Comment (Deposit): NO SCHEELITE WAS EXPOSED IN THE QUARRIES PREVIOUSLY WORKED FOR GOLD AND ANTIMONY. THE TUNGSTEN ORE BODY WAS ENTIRELY COVERED BY GLACIAL DEBRIS. TUNGSTEN WAS IN UPPER PART OF ORE BODY.
