Comments

Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT FOLLOW THE BEDDING PLANES WHICH STRIKE N 34 W AND DIP 6-15 E. THE BEDS WHERE MINERALIZED ARE JOINED BY A VEIN WHICH STRIKE N 80 E AND DIPS 78 S. THE ORE BEARING SOLUTIONS PRESUMABLY CIRCULATING IN THE FISSURE WERE IN MEASURE CONTROLLED BY THE HANGING-WALL SHALE AND DEPOSITED MUCH OF THE LOAD BELOW IT.

Comment (Workings): MINE DEVELOPED BY TWO INCLINED SHAFTS WITH NINE LEVELS OF DRIFTS AND CROSSCUTS.

Comment (Location): 0.5 MI SE OF THE HOPE DISCOVERY INCLINE ON SLOPE OF POORMAN HILL.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): EXCELLENT POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL ORE WHERE TWO PERCENT VEIN CUTS (1) THE BASE OF THE HASMARK FM. AND (2) THE MIDDLE OF THE SILVER HILL FM. A 2000 FT SHAFT WOULD BE NEEDED TO REACH THE SILVER HILL FM.

Comment (Production): PRE-RAILROAD PRODUCTION SHIPPED TO SWANSEA, ENGLAND. TOTAL PRODUCTION UP TO 1906 WAS $75000.
