Comment (Production): PRODUCTION ESTIMATED AT $2,500,000 OF WHICH 95% WAS GOLD AND ABOUT 5% SILVER. MOST OF THIS PRODUCTION WAS PRIOR TO 1915. PRODUCTION YEARS 1884 - 1890 , 1903 - 1942.
Comment (Deposit): VEIN OUTCROPS ON THE N RIDGE IN A WIDE SHALLOW DEPRESSION THAT IS DRAINED BY FOOLHEN CREEK. THE VEIN HAS A BANDED STRUCTURE DUE TO ALTERNATION OF LAYERS OF DIFFERENT COMPOSITION AND TEXTURE, THE LAYERS ARE PARALLEL TO THE WALLS. IT HAS A CONSTANT STRIKE FOR 1500 FT AND SEVERAL BRANCHES SPLIT FROM IT.
Comment (Workings): AN ADIT AT THE S BASE OF THE RIDGE. IT IS DRIVEN NW AND INTERSECTS THE VEIN 1000 FT IN. DRIFTS EXTEND 2000 FT W AND 800 FT E. 2 SHAFTS AT SURFACE (INACCESSIBLE). PITS, DRAIN TUNNEL.
Comment (Geology): 350 FT E OF THE ADIT THE VEIN IS CROSSED BY A FAULT THAT TRENDS N 20 E AND STANDS VERTICAL.
