Comments
Comment (Location): DEPOSIT ON UNSURVEYED LAND, SECTION NUMBERS ESTIMATED U.T.M. COORDINATES TAKEN ON UPPER ADIT
Comment (Reserve-Resource): LARGE PRODUCTION INDICATES THAT LITTLE OR NO ORE REMAINS ABOVE THE NO. 8 ADIT BUT THERE IS NO INDICATION OF THE VEIN PINCHING OUT AT DEPTH. RESOURCE ESTIMATE MADE BY ASSUMING THAT THE VEIN MAY BE MINED TO THE NO. 10 LEVEL FOR A LENGTH OF 1000 FT AND A WIDTH OF 3 FT. NONE OF THIS GROUND APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN STOPED SO IT IS PROBABLY RELATIVELY LOW GRADE.
Comment (Workings): PROPERTY DEVELOPED BY 3 MAIN ADITS, THE LOWERMOST (NO. 8) BEING AT LEAST 2800 FT. LONG, TWO SHALLOW SHAFTS, A WINZE SUNK ABOUT 125 FT BELOW THE NO. 8 ADIT, AND NUMEROUS RAISES AND LEVELS.
Comment (Geology): VEIN REPORTEDLY SHOWS DISTINCT BANDING STRUCTURE BELIEVED DUE TO A SHEETING OF ALTERED COUNTRY ROCK. CRYSTALLINE PRECAMBRIAN ROCKS ARE PRE-BELT.
Comment (Production): PRODUCTION RECORDS PRIOR TO 1940 SKETCHY. ESTIMATED VALUE OF PRODUCTION PRIOR TO 1940 IS $5,000,000, PRIMARILY IN SILVER. OVER 1,000,000 OZ AG PRODUCED PRIOR TO 1895.
