Comments
Comment (Reserve-Resource): AVG LARGE TONNAGE OF BROKEN ROCK 6 - 8 % PB - ZN AND 1 OZ. AG / TON WAS LEFT IN STOPED AREAS
Comment (Development): Rainstorm in April, 1921 exposed an outcrop of high-grade lead oxide ore south of Denver (North) vein. Discovery confimed that fall by an adit driven or extended by Evans Gay. This was the Sidney West orebody.
Comment (Development): Mining by shrinkage stoping and cut-and-fill (with waste rock) methods.
Comment (Development): US Bureau of Mines in Sept. 1944 discovered the Sidney East orebody during a 2,670-foot diamond drilling program.
Comment (Location): NEAR HEAD OF DENVER CREEK CANYON, ABOUT 1.5 MI ABOVE ITS CONFLUENCE WITH E PINE CREEK SIDNEY PROPERTY IS BETWEEN NABOB AND NEVADA STEWART PROPERTY.
Comment (Production): Production reported to US Bureau of Mines from Mitchell and Bennett (1983). Grade data from DMEA records.
