Comments

Comment (Commodity): ACCORDING TO DYNI (1968), BEDS WERE PROSPECTED BECAUSE OF GREENISH COLOR GIVEN TO ROCK BY GLAUCONITE. IF CU MINERALS ARE PRESENT, THEY COULD BE OXIDIZED TO MALACHITE, AZURITE, AND PERHAPS BROCHANTITE, SIMILAR TO OCCURRENCES IN BLUE MTNS AREA TO WEST

Comment (Location): NEAR MIDDLE OF CROSS MOUNTAIN ON EAST FLANK ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1974)

Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT LIES ON FAULTED EAST LIMB OF NW-SE TRENDING, DOUBLY PLUNGING CROSS MOUNTAIN ANTICLINE. DEPOSIT COULD BE VEIN AS PROSPECT LIES IN HANGING WALL OF EAST FAULT, A HIGH-ANGLE REVERSE FAULT STRIKING APPROX N 13 W AND DIPPING 82 TO 88 SW AND WHICH DISPLACES PRECAMBRIAN ROCKS AND LODORE FM ON WEST AGAINST MISSISSIPPIAN-DEVONIAN ROCKS ON EAST.
