Comment (Deposit): IRREGULAR RED SILICEOUS MANGANIFEROUS ZONE GRADING INTO ALTERED BASALT.
Comment (Location): THE LUCKY STRIKE CLAIM IS 2.9 MILES FROM THE SNIDER RANGER STATION BY WAY OF THE NORTH POINT LOOKOUT ROAD. THE DEPOSIT IS 500 FEET BELOW THE ROAD AT AN ELEVATION OF 1,700 FEET. A BLAZED TRAIL LEADS TO THE DEPOSIT FROM A WIDE CUT IN THE ROAD.
