Comment (Deposit): CRYSTALLINE CORUNDUM AND ASSOCIATED QUARTZ AND RUTILE, FORM IRREGULAR MASSES UP TO SEVERAL INCHES IN DIAMETER, IN FELSITE DIKES THAT CUT COARSE GRAINED GRANITE.

Comment (Location): PHILLIPS REPORTS THE TOWNSHIP AND RANGE AS 6S, 6E.

Comment (Production): FUTURE OF PRODUCTION OF ABRASIVE QUALITY CORUNDUM IN ARIZONA IS PRACTICALLY NIL. HOWEVER, SPECIMENS OF GEM (LARGELY SEMIPRECIOUS) QUALITY MAY STILL BE FOUND.
