Comments
Comment (Development): SHAFTS, ADITS, PITS, TRENCHES, AND CORE DRILLING.
Comment (Deposit): SKARN AND TACTITE ZONES CONTAINING ORE MINERALS.
Comment (Workings): PROSPECT PITS, TRENCHES, SHAFTS, AND ADITS: ONE SHAFT IS REPORTED TO BE AT LEAST 100 FT DEEP, AND 2 SOUTHERLY TRENDING ADITSARE 80 AND 90 FT LONG.
Comment (Geology): THE AREA IS UNDERLAIN BY METAMORPHOSED (CONTACT) PALEOZOIC ROCKS. WITHIN THESE ROCKS OCCUR SKARN AND TACTITE BODIES WHICH CONTAIN THE ORE MINERALS.
Comment (Deposit): BECAUSE THE MINERALIZATION APPEARS TO BE AN EXTENSION OF ORE BODIES OF THE MAGNETIC MINE, THE MINERALIZED AREAS WERE CORE DRILLED IN 1911 (EARLIEST DRILLING) BY GRANBY. THE HOLE WAS 250 FT DEEP AND VERTICAL.
Comment (Commodity): 8 CARLOADS ORE PRODUCED 1916
