Comments

Comment (Location): IN KALMIOPSIS WILDERNESS IN SISKIYOU NATIONAL FOREST

Comment (Deposit): NO ORE SEEN IN PLACE IN 1954

Comment (Location): IN SISKIYOU NATIONAL FOREST. 4 MI NORTH OF CENTRAL ILLINOIS RIVER AREA. UTM FOR PGE SAMPLE SITE LOCATION PLOTS IN CALIFORNIA. IDENTITY OF THIS DEPOSIT IS IN QUESTION. ORIGINAL ENTRY SUGGESTED THIS MAY BE PART OF SORDY GROUP. PRODUCTION FIGURES IN CARLSON AND OTHERS (1985) SUGGEST IT MAY BE SAD SACK (BLACK PRINCESS), MINE WHICH IS NOT PART OF SORDY GROUP.

Comment (Geology): SOME DIORITE AND GABBRO NEARBY. DESCRIPTION GIVEN HERE IS GENERAL FOR CHROME RIDGE AREA FOUND IN WELLS AND OTHERS (1941).
