Comment (Deposit): REVERSE FAULT FISSURES W/QUARTZ FITTING - VEINS INTERSECT AT POINT 2500 N. OF CENTRAL SHAFT. BANNER VEIN AVG. 7 FT. THICK. CENTRAL VEIN AVG. 3 FT. THICK. VEINS SPLIT W/ BARREN ZONES OF COUNTRY ROCK. THESE STRINGERS RARELY ECONOMICAL.
Comment (Geology): AGRILLITE, BELONGING TO CALAVERAS FM., BECOMES SILICEOUS TOWARD GRANODIORITE CONTACT ON NORTH SOUTHERN PART OF MINE CUT BY 'LATITE' DIKES, WHICH ARE CUT BY ORE FRACTURES. IN THE BANNER DIORITE AND ANDESITE DIKES PRESENT, ALSO OLDER THAN VEIN STRUCTURE. BOTH TYPES OF DIKES HAVE NO OBSERVABLE BEARING ON ORE SHOOTS. VEINS HIGHLY FRACTURED FROM FAULTING.
