Comment (Reserve-Resource): GREATES POTENTIAL FOR FURTHER PRODUCTION PROBABLY LIES IN THE 600 FT OF UNEXPLORED VEIN PARTIALLY EXPOSED NE OF SHAFT. THE VEIN SPLIT JUNCTION 300 FT NE OF SHAFT WOULD PROVIDE A LIKELY TARGET FOR EXPLORATION . SEARCH FOR W EXTENSION OF TURNING POINT VEIN W OF THE N-STRIKING W-DIPPING FAULT AGAINST WHICH PAST OPERATIONS CEASED, MIGHT BE PROFITABLE.

Comment (Location): N END OF SLATE MOUNTAINS. LAND STATUS INFORMATION FROM 1979.

Comment (Production): SOME HIGH GRADE ORE STOPPED AND SHIPPED IN 1911. MINE WORKED INTERMITTENTLY UNTIL 1946. 1913 REPORTED RECOVERY OF METALS IN AMALGAM AND CONC WAS ABOUT 60%. VALUES WERE $6-7/T, SOMETIMES OVER $100/T.
